The tour
Throughout this tour we will explore the largest and most important painting gallery in the world, the Prado Museum, approaching the most outstanding artists and masterpieces there.
Firstly, we will learn a little about both the origin of the building and the origin of the collections. Next, following a chronological order, we will go through the centuries between the 15th and the 19th, placing special emphasis on those artists who worked in Spain or worked for the Hispanic Monarchy; from Titian, through El Greco, Rubens or Velázquez (among others), to Goya.
As a visual artist and art restorer that I am, I have prepared this tour in order for the visitors to immerse themselves in the great treasure that the Prado Museum houses, understanding the different historical contexts and the relationship between one art piece and another, learning a lot and having fun at the same time.

My name is Delfina, although everyone calls me Delfi.
I am a plastic artist and art restorer, and above all, passionate about Madrid and the great treasure that this city keeps.
As a painting specialist, I know very well the different movements and artists, the painting techniques and the restoration methods applied to this type of work. And all this background makes me the right person to show you the Prado Museum.
It doesn't matter if you are an art expert or have no idea, my tour is designed for all levels of knowledge. I tell you things in a close and clear way, my goal is for your experience at the Prado to be complete and, above all, for it to be an excellent one.
